The Hunts

Quail Hunts (October 1, 2010 – March 31, 2011)
Coach Dye and quail
Coach Dye will be your host. Hunting will be done with experienced guides from wagons or you can walk if you choose. We have outstanding dogs and strong-flying birds. Extra birds are available on request.
·Morning Hunt - 8:00 am
Afternoon Hunt - 2:00 pm
·All birds over the limit are $9
each. You may order extra live
birds prior to the hunt for $5.50
each and in that case there is
no limit
·Cleaning and packaging of
birds is included
·Breakfast - 7:00 am
Lunch - 11:30 am
Dinner - 7:00 pm


Half-Day Hunt ($350 per guest):

Breakfast or lunch is provided before joining your guide for your hunt. There is a 14-bird limit per person.

Full-Day Hunt ($600 per guest):

Arrive for breakfast and prepare for the morning hunt. After lunch, you will enjoy an afternoon hunt before you depart. There is a 24-bird limit per hunter. (For an overnight stay prior to morning hunt, add $150 per guest which includes meals).

Two Half-Days Hunt with Overnight ($800 per guest):

On Day 1, arrive for lunch, followed by an afternoon hunt. You will then return to the lodge for the social hour followed by dinner. There is a 24-bird limit per hunter.

A country breakfast will be served on Day 2 followed by the morning hunt and lunch before you return to the real world.

Hunt On Your Own (bring your own dogs; quail are $5.50 each if put out by you or your guide, $6.50 each if we put out the quail):
  • Half-day Hunt ($150 per guest, 12-bird limit per hunter)
  • Full-day Hunt ($250 per guest, 24-bird limit per hunter)
  • Overnight accommodations can be arranged at $100 per guest; meals can be included at additional cost.





Deer Hunts

Day deer hunts will be offered for $200 per guest, which includes brunch, snacks and dinner. You may arrange for an overnight stay for an additional $100.

Coach Dye will be your host. His guides will escort you to and from deer stands. You may take does; bucks must be 8 points or better with a 15-inch inside spread. Dressing and cleaning will be handled by the guides, and deer processing is available nearby. There is a one buck limit per person, with additional bucks at $500. A blood trail counts as a kill.



Turkey Hunts

Day turkey hunts with guide will be offered for $400. You may stay overnight prior to your hunt for an additional $100, which would not include meals. Breakfast and lunch can be arranged at addtional cost.
