About horse boarding at Crooked Oaks
Horse boarding at Crooked Oaks includes the following: grain feeding once a day, hay in the winter, access to shelter, tack room, round pen and miles of beautiful trails.
The best part of horse boarding at Crooked Oaks is it lets your horse thrive in a safe, natural environment.
Pasture boarding is available for $350 a month per horse. We provide Nutrena Triumph Professional 14-grain feed. Not your brand? No problem. We’d be happy to work with you. Self-care is not available at this time.
In order to pasture your horse at Crooked Oaks, proof of animal vaccinations and a negative Coggins test are required. There are stalls available for use when a medical issue arises. The owner is responsible for keeping the stall cleaned daily in such cases. Owners must be present for all farrier and vet appointments.
Owners are also responsible for blanketing their horses and scheduling any health care appointments.
Finally, Crooked Oaks hosts events and hunts, which may occasionally change where you can ride or even pasture. But don’t worry! We always notify you in advance of any such changes, and with 450 acres, there are plenty of places to ride!
To sum it up, horse boarding at Crooked Oaks is a good option for both the horse and the owners. Contact our office at 334-257-1519 today for more information and to schedule a tour. We’d be happy to show you the many trails and beautiful spaces available to you and your horse on the property.
